Job Title: Senior Safety Manager

Project Location: Thane, Mumbai

Experience Required: 15+ Years

Qualification: B.Tech (Any Specialization)

ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) Mandatory (Recognized State Board Approved)

Project Experience Required : Roads Metro Projects Bridges Tunnels.

Role & Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and enforce Health, Safety & Setting (HSE) policies and procedures across the project.
Ensure full compliance with statutory safety regulations, labour laws, and project specific safety requirements.
Lead and manage the project safety team, including Safety Officers and Supervisors.
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification.
Prepare and implement Safety Management Plans (SMP), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Method Statements, and emergency response plans.
Organize and conduct safety induction programs, toolbox talks, training sessions, and safety awareness campaigns.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases; conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective & preventive actions.




Maintain all safety records, statutory registers, permits, and MIS reports.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Subcontractors, and Client safety teams to ensure a safe working setting.
Liaise with government authorities, safety auditors, and third-party agencies during inspections and audits.
Promote a strong safety culture with the objective of zero accidents.

Key Skills & Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of construction safety standards and HSE regulations
Experience in handling large-scale infrastructure projects
Robust leadership, communication, and coordination skills
Expertise in accident investigation and safety compliance management
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and high-risk activities

Preferred Candidate Profile:
Minimum 15+ years of safety experience in Roads, Metros, Bridges & Tunnels projects
Mandatory ADIS certification
Exposure to coastal or marine-related infrastructure projects will be an added advantage
