We are looking for a Senior Accountant to take complete ownership of the company’s day-to-day accounting and financial records. This is a hands-on accounting role. We are looking for someone who is genuinely strong in accounting and enjoys working with the books, rather than someone looking primarily for a supervisory, compliance-only or managerial role.

Key Responsibilities
Complete day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping in Tally
Bank reconciliations and scrutiny of transactions
Accounts payable / receivable and vendor accounting
GST accounting, reconciliations, returns, notices and audit support
TDS and related accounting/compliance work
Ledger scrutiny and monthly closing
Preparation of financial statements and schedules
Coordination with the company’s CA, auditors, banks and other financial institutions
Maintaining and organizing invoices, supporting documents and accounting records
Responding to information/documentation requirements from auditors, banks, GST authorities and consultants
Identifying discrepancies and following through until they are resolved
Taking ownership of accounting deadlines and ensuring that matters are followed up and closed

The role will also involve occasional finance-related coordination and correspondence with banks, vendors, consultants and external agencies.



This is not an admin-heavy role.

What We Are Looking For
8–10 years of hands-on accounting experience
Strong practical knowledge of Tally and accounting processes
Strong working knowledge of GST and TDS
Experience handling audits, reconciliations and statutory accounting requirements
Ability to independently maintain and scrutinize books of accounts
Extremely meticulous with invoices, documentation and financial records
Strong understanding of business transactions and the ability to apply judgment rather than simply process entries
Comfortable dealing directly with banks, auditors, consultants and vendors
Robust follow-up skills and a high degree of ownership
Positive written and verbal communication
Comfortable using technology and accounting tools, including AI where practical, while being able to independently verify and understand the underlying information
