Job Title: Senior Executive / Assistant Manager– Sales & Marketing

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reports To: Deputy Manager / Manager – Sales & Marketing

Job Purpose To support business growth by identifying current business opportunities, managing customer enquiries, preparing techno-commercial quotations, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely execution of sales activities while maintaining customer satisfaction and compliance with company processes.

Key Responsibilities
Generate recent business leads and support achievement of sales targets.
Identify and develop recent customers while strengthening relationships with existing customers.
Handle customer enquiries, RFQs, and prepare techno-commercial quotations.
Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Planning, Quality, Procurement, and Finance for timely submission of quotations and execution of customer orders.
Follow up with customers on quotations, order status, deliveries, and payment collections.
Maintain accurate customer information, sales records, and related documentation.
Prepare periodic MIS reports and sales-related documentation.




Support customer visits, exhibitions, business meetings, and promotional activities.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, and compliance with company policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
MBA (Marketing) is desirable but not mandatory.

Experience
3–6 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development in a manufacturing industry.
Experience in Automotive, Engineering, Composites, Aerospace, Railways, or Industrial products will be an added advantage.

Skills Required
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Techno-commercial aptitude with the ability to understand engineering drawings and prepare quotations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Customer relationship management and business development skills.
Preferred: Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
