Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure that all copy reads well and is grammatically and factually correct
Correct spelling and grammar check content impose consistent styles and reword or rewrite (copy-editing)
Liaise regularly with authors and publishers by phone and email
Resolve queries directly with the author eg style and text inconsistencies
Ensure that photos and illustrations are correctly captioned and referred to in the text
Check chromeapp notification text and social content for quality
Maintain sheet to track writers' quality and performance
Identify and fix bugsissues on website
Conduct trainingmentoring workshops for writers every quarter
