Position: Tekla Steel Modeler – Mid-Level to Senior Level

Location: Chennai

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Tekla Steel Modeler with solid hands-on experience in Tekla Structures and knowledge of AISC Standards. The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate 3D structural steel models based on engineering and design drawings for US-based projects.

Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures.
Read and interpret structural, architectural, and engineering drawings.
Model structural steel members, connections, stairs, platforms, and miscellaneous steel.
Apply AISC Standards and project-specific detailing requirements.
Create accurate and constructible models for fabrication and erection.
Coordinate with Detailers, Checkers, Engineers, and Project Managers.
Review models for accuracy, clashes, and completeness.
Incorporate design changes and revisions into the Tekla model.
Generate drawings, reports, and material lists as required.




Resolve modeling issues and technical queries during project execution.
Ensure models are completed within project schedules and quality standards.

Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience in Tekla Structures.
Good knowledge of AISC Standards.
Strong understanding of structural steel detailing and fabrication.
Good knowledge of steel connections, bolts, welds, and structural members.
Ability to understand and interpret structural drawings.
Knowledge of fabrication and erection requirements.
Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
Robust attention to detail and quality.

Experience
Mid-Level: 3–5 years of relevant experience.
Senior-Level: 5–8+ years of relevant experience.
Experience working on US structural steel projects will be an advantage.

Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Preferred: Immediate joiners. Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
