: Technician – Mechanical Maintenance

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the effective operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment in a facility. The role involves maintaining operational efficiency, managing equipment, ensuring safety compliance, optimizing costs, coordinating with stakeholders, and contributing to team development.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Operational Efficiency
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure smooth operation of mechanical systems.
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical faults to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
Conduct performance tests on equipment to detect inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports to track system performance and service history.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance mechanical system efficiency.
Equipment Management
Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment, including pumps, conveyors, compressors, and hydraulic systems.
Ensure proper lubrication, alignment,



and calibration of mechanical components.
Assist in the procurement of spare parts, tools, and consumables required for mechanical maintenance.
Maintain an updated inventory of mechanical spare parts and tools to avoid operational delays.
Support the implementation of predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis and thermal imaging.

Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or certification in ITI, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
Hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and rotating equipment systems.
Familiarity with maintenance management systems and tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to workplace safety and compliance.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
