Packing (OSD): Officer
Packing Line Supervision: Supervise daily operations across primary (blister, strip, bottle) and secondary (cartoning, shipper) packaging lines to ensure output targets are met.
Machinery Operation & Set-Up: Set up, adjust, and monitor high-speed packing lines, resolving minor operational issues to maintain continuous production flow.
BPR Real-Time Entry: Complete real-time Batch Packing Records (BPR), equipment logbooks, and line status boards in full compliance with ALCOA+ data integrity standards.
Line Clearance Verification: Perform and enforce Type A/B line clearances, cleaning, and overprinting layout checks during product or batch changeovers to prevent mix-ups.
In-Process Quality Checks: Execute routine IPQC tests, including leak tests (vacuum testing), overprint/embossing verification, barcode scanning tests, and visual inspection checks.
Packaging Material Reconciliation: Calculate material yield,
verify issue/return quantities of foils, cartons, leaflets, and shippers, and account for rejected packaging materials.
QMS Participation: Report packaging line deviations or incidents immediately, assist in initial investigations, and implement assigned CAPA measures.
Operator & Staff Guidance: Direct, assign tasks to, and supervise packing line operators, contract workers, and trainees to ensure line discipline and safety.
Audit Preparedness: Maintain the packing hall, logbooks, and staging areas in a state of continuous readiness for internal and external regulatory audits (USFDA, MHRA, WHO).
EHS & Safety Enforcement: Enforce shop-floor safety protocols, proper usage of PPE, machine guarding checks, and 5S workplace organization standards.
