About the Project

We are looking for a Junior Python & Linux Security Engineer Intern to join our cloud platform team. This 6-month unpaid internship is ideal for candidates who want hands-on experience in Linux, Python, Cyber Security, and DevSecOps while working alongside senior engineers on a production-grade cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in securing Linux servers by managing users, groups, file permissions, and access controls.
Support the development of secure Python applications following secure coding practices.
Maintain and improve Bash scripts while ensuring protected command execution.
Help implement secure communication using HTTPS, TLS, and WebSockets (WSS).
Assist in configuring Nginx, firewalls (UFW/iptables), and basic network security.
Support vulnerability assessments, security testing, and technical documentation.




Learn and assist with virtualization technologies such as KVM/QEMU.

Required Skills
Basic knowledge of Linux, Python, and Shell Scripting.
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH).
Familiarity with Git and command-line tools.
Solid analytical, problem-solving, and learning mindset.

Eligibility
B.E./B.Tech/MCA (Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or related field).
Freshers or candidates with internship/project experience are encouraged to apply.
