Roles and Responsibilities
Develop welding procedures (WPS) and perform PQR testing to ensure compliance with ASME Section IX standards.
Conduct NDT inspections using various methods such as UT, RT, MT, DPT, LDPT to detect defects or anomalies in welds.
Create welder qualification documents including WPQ forms for re-qualifications.
Ensure accurate documentation of all welding activities, including records of testing results and certifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement welding processes that meet project requirements.
