Position Title: Sr. Design Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Vehicle Integration Engineer with experience in Vehicle Packaging, DMU (Digital Mock-Up), and CATIA. The candidate will be responsible for vehicle-level integration activities, packaging feasibility studies, clash detection, and cross-functional coordination to ensure robust vehicle architecture and package compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Perform vehicle packaging studies and integration activities for passenger/commercial vehicle programs.
Create and modify 3D models and assemblies using CATIA V5.
Conduct DMU reviews, clearance analysis, and clash detection across vehicle systems.
Support vehicle architecture development and package optimization.
Analyze component interfaces and ensure packaging feasibility.
Coordinate with BIW, Chassis, Powertrain, Electrical, Interior, Exterior, HVAC, and Safety teams for integration activities.
Prepare packaging layouts, engineering proposals, and design release documentation.
Support issue resolution during design reviews and development phases.




Participate in virtual validation and vehicle integration reviews.
Maintain packaging standards and engineering best practices.

Required Skills
Solid understanding of Vehicle Integration and Vehicle Packaging.
Hands-on experience in CATIA V5.
Experience in DMU activities, clash analysis, and clearance management.
Knowledge of vehicle architecture and system integration.
Understanding of automotive product development process.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills
Experience with Teamcenter/PLM tools.
Exposure to commercial vehicles or passenger vehicles.
Knowledge of packaging regulations and ergonomic requirements.
Basic understanding of GD&T; and manufacturing processes.

Educational Qualification
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, or related Engineering discipline.
