Role & responsibilities
Prepare and monitor the AOP (Annual Operating Plan) and ensure timely execution of planned activities.
Manage statutory clearances and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
Plan, monitor, and coordinate AOH (Annual Overhauling) activities.
Coordinate and monitor COH (Capital Overhauling) activities.
Ensure PM (Preventive Maintenance) compliance and timely closure of maintenance activities.
Monitor notification compliance and ensure implementation within stipulated timelines.
Utilize SAP PM and SAP MM for maintenance, material, and inventory-related activities.
Manage plant inventory and coordinate material requirements for maintenance activities.
Monitor and analyze Heat Rate and Boiler Efficiency to improve plant performance.
Conduct APC (Auxiliary Power Consumption) analysis and identify prospects for optimization.
Coordinate Energy Audits and implementation of energy-efficiency initiatives.
Conduct/coordinate Equipment Performance Tests and analyze performance deviations.
Prepare technical reports, MIS,
and performance analysis for management review.
Ensure coordination with maintenance, operations, projects, and other cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline.
Experience in thermal power plant operations, maintenance, energy management, or performance monitoring.
Knowledge of SAP PM/MM and MS Project.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Positive understanding of plant efficiency parameters, energy conservation, and maintenance practices.
Certified Energy Auditor certification will be preferred.
