Job Description
About the Role
We are hiring 4 energetic Field Associates to drive the daily, hands-on execution of the Thermal Comfort Park project in Nagpur. The selected candidates will work under the supervision of the Project Manager, spending the majority of their time physically present on-site tracking work quality, gathering field data, and supporting contractor activities.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Site Monitoring and Site Identification: Supervise daily physical construction, identify suitable sites for expansion, planting, and installation activities on the park site.
- Field Survey & Data Collection: Assist in recording environmental/microclimate measurements, taking site photos, and keeping logs of daily site activities.
- Contractor Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for daily labor, material deliveries, and sub-contractor supervision.
- Quality & Compliance Checks: Ensure materials delivered match specifications and work executed adheres to safety standards.
- Logistics Support: Coordinate tools, machinery, and material movement across the site.
RequirementsKey Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Ecology, Forestry, Horticulture, Botany,
Landscape Design.
- Experience: 1–3 years in field supervision, site engineering, landscaping, or urban development projects. Freshers with solid project internship experience will also be considered.
- Capabilities: High physical stamina, comfort working outdoors in Nagpur's summer weather conditions, and strong communication skills in Hindi/Marathi.
- Location Constraint: Must be currently located in Nagpur or immediately available to work physically on-site full-time.
BenefitsCompensation & Work Conditions
- Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience, range - 2.5 to 3.5 lakh pa
- Work Hours: Standard site operating hours; requires flexibility during intensive execution phases.
Requirements
Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in large-scale project management or operations, preferably in the environmental, rural development, or sustainability sector Experience in managing cross-functional teams, client relations, budgeting, and on-ground execution MBA in operations or prior experience in afforestation or community-based projects will be an added advantage
