About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Analyst to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our enterprise data ecosystem. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across various platforms and pipelines. As organizations increasingly migrate to cloud-based solutions and modernize their data infrastructure, your expertise will support these initiatives by implementing robust validation and testing strategies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale data projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the organization's data-driven decision-making processes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in data quality testing methodologies, with hands-on experience in SQL and database validation. You should have a proven track record working with large datasets and complex data pipelines.



A keen eye for detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills are essential. Candidates should also have experience with ETL processes, data profiling, and root cause analysis. Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and familiarity with automated testing frameworks will be advantageous. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required, along with relevant qualified experience in data quality assurance.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement comprehensive data validation and testing strategies to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve data quality issues across complex data pipelines, including ingestion, transformation, and storage processes.
- Validate data ingestion processes from various sources such as SQL Server, DB2, and flat files to ensure data integrity and completeness.
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers and other stakeholders to facilitate high-quality data delivery and address quality concerns proactively.
- Create and maintain automated testing frameworks and monitoring solutions to streamline data validation processes and enable continuous quality assurance.




- Support cloud-based data modernization initiatives by integrating validation processes into new data architectures and workflows.
- Conduct data profiling and root cause analysis to identify underlying issues affecting data quality and recommend corrective actions.
- Document testing procedures, results, and issues comprehensively to ensure transparency and facilitate continuous improvement.
