Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Write clean and efficient SQL queries and improve database performance.
- Support database development for business applications.
- Troubleshoot database issues and help resolve performance problems.
- Assist with REST and SOAP API integrations when needed.
- Work with developers and business teams to understand project requirements.
- Support batch jobs, reports, and scheduled database tasks.
- Provide production support and fix database-related issues.
- Help with database enhancements and system improvements.
- Travel for client projects when required.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
- Good knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and relational database concepts.




- Understanding of query optimization and performance tuning.
- Basic knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs.
- Exposure to Unix/Linux and shell scripting.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel for onsite client assignments.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with BI Publisher, Oracle Reports, or similar reporting tools.
- Basic knowledge of Java or any scripting language.
- Exposure to enterprise applications or integration projects.
- Familiarity with job scheduling tools such as Autosys, Control-M, or cron.
- Interest in learning new technologies and supporting system implementation projects.
