Test Analyst - Cash Market

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and understand business requirements related to Cash Market Operations, Clearing & Settlement, Risk Management, Collateral Management, and Back-office Processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business users, and vendor partners to gather, validate, and document requirements.
- Prepare detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, User Stories, and Use Cases.
- Design, execute, and manage functional, integration, regression, and UAT test scenarios.
- Identify, log, track, and coordinate resolution of defects with development and vendor teams.
- Validate end-to-end trade lifecycle from order placement through clearing and settlement (T+1).
- Recommend process improvements and solutions to enhance business efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Business Users throughout the testing lifecycle.




- Ensure successful delivery of business requirements within project timelines.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of the Equity Trading Lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with Order Management Systems (OMS).
- Good knowledge of Risk Management Systems (RMS).
- Understanding of Clearing & Settlement (T+1) processes.
- Experience in Collateral and Margin Management.
- Knowledge of Corporate Actions and their impact on trading and settlement.
- Robust experience in SIT, UAT, Regression Testing, Test Case Design, Execution, Defect Management, and Test Reporting.
- Ability to validate complete trade flow across front-office, middle-office, and back-office systems.
