Freelance Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Git Hub Sourcing & Linked In Recruiter Training
ENGAGEMENT OVERVIEW
Engagement Type: Freelance / Consultant (Face-to-Face Knowledge Transfer)
Location: Salt Lake Office (On-site)
Reporting to: Head of Talent Acquisition / Learning & Development
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking experienced Freelance Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and deliver practical, high-impact training sessions for our internal IT Talent Acquisition team. The engagement covers two specialized tracks - Git Hub Sourcing and Linked In Recruiter - and is intended to strengthen the technical sourcing capability of our recruitment function. Candidates with expertise in either or both areas are welcome to apply.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and deliver structured, hands-on training sessions tailored to the needs of the Talent Acquisition team.
Conduct interactive sessions covering both theoretical concepts and real-world sourcing scenarios.
Develop and administer post-session assessments to evaluate participant understanding and skill application.
Provide practical exercises, live demonstrations, and Q&A; to reinforce learning outcomes.
Share best practices, tips, and scalable sourcing techniques drawn from hands-on industry experience.
Collaborate with the internal L&D;/TA team to align training content with organizational sourcing goals.
TRAINING FOCUS AREAS
1. Git Hub Training (SME Track A):
Technical sourcing methodologies and identification of developer talent.
Advanced Git Hub search operators and query techniques.
Evaluating repositories, contributor profiles, and technology stacks.
Real-life sourcing scenarios and case-study-based exercises.
2. Linked In Recruiter Training (SME Track B):
Advanced Linked In Recruiter workflows and Boolean search techniques.
Project management and talent pool creation within Recruiter.
InMail strategy and candidate engagement best practices.
Practical, scalable sourcing techniques for high-volume and niche hiring.
RequirementsENGAGEMENT DETAILS
Engagement Type: Freelance - Face-to-Face Knowledge Transfer
Location: Salt Lake Office.
Session Duration: 60–90 minutes per session.
Frequency: 2 sessions per month
Format: Interactive training with post-session assessment
Target Audience: Recruitment / Talent Acquisition team
Commercials: To be discussed based on experience, expertise, and scope of engagement
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Proven, hands-on experience in technical/IT recruitment and sourcing.
Demonstrated expertise in Git Hub-based sourcing and/or Linked In Recruiter tools.
Prior experience designing and delivering corporate training or workshops.
Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage a recruiter audience effectively.
Ability to design practical assessments to measure training effectiveness.
