Personal Care R&D; Scientist

/n

/n

Create disruptive "fresh" and natural personal care products using fresh ingredients, minimal processing and no preservatives

/n

/n

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n

/n

- Lead teams, build processes, drive QA guidelines to setup scalable formulation practices

/n

- Develop, formulate, and optimize natural personal care products such as skincare, haircare, and body care items with the intent that the products have a more food like feel and texture.

/n

- Research and implement innovative, eco-friendly ingredients and technologies.

/n

- Conduct stability testing, compatibility testing, and performance evaluations to ensure product efficacy and safety.

/n





- Support product claims substantiation and regulatory documentation as needed.

/n

- Oversee pilot plant trials, troubleshooting any formulation challenges and optimizing processes for manufacturing efficiency (mid-scale to large-scale production).

Skill sets

/n

/n

- Master/PhD/Post Doc degree in chemistry/biochemistry/pharmaceutical science/cosmetic/ Ayurveda.

/n

- Ideally worked in personal care research and development of a company and has formulated own products

/n

- Experience in formulating natural or Ayurvedic products. Preferable if formulated 100% natural products and has good understanding of natural preservatives, stabilisers, emulsifiers, surfactants, etc.

- 2+ years of industry experience

/n

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment.
