Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Accountant Officer (Civil) with 10+ years of experience in the construction industry , specializing in large-scale projects (townships, residential, and commercial). The ideal candidate must have expertise in construction material procurement, cost control, and project accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

/n

1. Accounting & Financial Management:

/n

/n

- Maintain project-wise accounting and financial records.

/n

- Prepare financial statements, budgets, and cost reports.

/n

- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other tax regulations.

/n

/n

1. Project Accounting & Cost Control:

/n

/n

- Track expenses, revenues, and profit margins for construction projects.

/n

- Handle work-in-progress (WIP) accounting and material consumption reports.

/n

- Implement cost control measures and minimize financial risks.

/n

/n

1. Procurement & Vendor Management:

/n

/n

- Oversee procurement of construction materials and supplier payments.

/n

- Verify purchase orders, contracts,



and invoices for accuracy.

/n

- Negotiate with vendors for better pricing and credit terms.

/n

/n

1. Compliance & Reporting:

/n

/n

- Ensure statutory compliance with financial and labor laws.

/n

- Generate MIS reports on project expenses and financial health.

/n

- Liaise with auditors and tax consultants when required.

/n

/n

Qualifications & Experience:

/n

/n

- Education: M. Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

/n

- Experience: Minimum 10 years in construction accounting.

/n

- Industry Expertise: Worked on large construction projects (townships, residential, commercial).

/n

/n

Key Skills:

/n

- Robust construction material procurement knowledge

/n

- Expertise in cost control & project accounting

/n

- Proficiency in GST, TDS, and financial compliance

/n

- Ability to work under deadlines & manage multiple projects

/n
