Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Counselor Psychologist role based at Better You Mind Wellness Clinic in Thane. The Counselor Psychologist will conduct individual and, where applicable, group counseling sessions, using appropriate therapeutic approaches to address anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns.
Responsibilities include performing intake assessments, developing and updating treatment plans, maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records, and monitoring client progress. The role involves collaborating with other mental health professionals, participating in case discussions, and providing psychoeducation to clients and families.
The counselor may also support outreach, workshops,



or wellness programs and is expected to follow professional codes of conduct and clinic policies.
Qualifications

- Possession of a relevant degree in Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field (Master’s level preferred).
- Licensure, registration, or eligibility as a practicing counselor/psychologist in accordance with local regulations and professional standards.
- Strong foundational knowledge of counseling theories, therapeutic techniques, and evidence-based interventions.
- Proficiency in conducting psychological assessments, intake interviews, and developing structured treatment plans.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document sessions clearly and professionally.
- Demonstrated ability to establish rapport, maintain professional boundaries, and work with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple cases and maintain accurate records.
- Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, continuous learning, and participation in supervision or peer consultation.
- Comfort working in an in office clinical setting in Thane, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in a mental health clinic, hospital, school, or community setting is an advantage.
