The organization is looking for a Accounts Role who will support the finance team in basic cost accounting, inventory accounting, and routine accounting
operations. The candidate should have a good understanding of inventory transactions, costing concepts, and accounting entries, preferably within a
manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in cost accounting activities, including basic product costing and cost data compilation.
- Maintain and track inventory accounting records, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Support in inventory reconciliation between physical stock and system records.
- Assist in preparation of cost sheets and cost analysis reports.
- Record and verify accounting entries related to inventory and material consumption.
- Coordinate with stores, purchase,
and production teams for inventory-related data.
- Support in monthly closing activities related to costing and inventory valuation.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit purposes.
- Assist senior finance team members in MIS reports and financial analysis.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of Cost Accounting and Inventory Accounting.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and journal entries.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP / Tally / other accounting software.
- Strong MS Excel skills for data tracking and analysis.
- Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
