Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced

Technical Lead - Backend

with strong expertise in

Python, FastAPI, and Microsoft Azure

to lead the design and development of scalable, cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will drive technical excellence, mentor engineering teams, define backend architecture, and deliver high-performance enterprise solutions using modern development practices.Key ResponsibilitiesLead backend architecture, design, and development using Python and FastAPI.Design and develop scalable, secure, and highly available RESTful APIs and microservices.Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.Drive technical design discussions, code reviews, and architecture governance.Mentor and guide development teams on best practices and coding standards.Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, DevOps, and business stakeholders.Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation for build, deployment, and monitoring.Ensure application security, performance, scalability,



and reliability.Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide technical leadership.Define and enforce software engineering best practices and design patterns.Mandatory Skills10+ years of software development experience.Strong expertise in

Python

and

FastAPI .Experience building

REST APIs

and

Microservices Architecture .Hands-on experience with

Microsoft Azure

services.Strong knowledge of

Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Key Vault .Experience with

Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments .Expertise in CI/CD using

Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions .Strong understanding of API security, OAuth2, JWT, and authentication mechanisms.Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, or similar databases.Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.Valuable to HaveEvent-driven architecture and messaging services.Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, or Kafka.Exposure to GenAI, Azure OpenAI, or AI-powered integrations.Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights.Technical SkillsBackend:
