Salesforce Testing is the process of validating that Salesforce applications, customizations, and integrations work correctly and meet business requirements. It typically includes:
- Functional Testing Verifies Salesforce features such as objects, workflows, validation rules, and Lightning components.
- Regression Testing – Ensures recent changes do not impact existing functionality.
- Integration Testing – Validates integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) – Confirms the application meets business needs from the end-user perspective.
- Automation Testing – Uses tools like Selenium, Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, or AccelQ to automate test cases.
- API Testing – Tests Salesforce REST and SOAP APIs using tools like Postman.
