Were seeking someone to join our ISG Finance (Product Control) team as a Product Controller in the Finance division to support the APAC Fixed Income Product Control team.
In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm’s financial and capital resources. This is an Analyst level position within the Product Control Job Family.

What you'll do in the role:
- Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm.
- Develop an understanding of Finance functional area, tools and processes.
- Responsible for tasks to support team deliverables, with guidance, and appropriately escalate issues to ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls.
- Uphold the Firm's values and hold yourself accountable to Firm standards.
- Deliver daily P&L; reporting for the Fixed Income business and perform daily validation and substantiation of revenues and attributed P&L; (Greek attributions) in upstream risk and downstream P&L; reporting systems; responsible for daily P&L; report distribution to business units.
- Deliver Fixed Income Business Unit month-end reporting for revenue and balance sheet.
- Ensure adherence to daily P&L; delivery SLAs to business units and month-end reporting; work within a tight control and governance environment in daily P&L; and month-end reporting.
- Escalate issues in a timely manner to management and key stakeholders and work with key stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of all issues.
- Understand the Fixed Income businesses, including the strategy, products, and inherent risks.
- Understand the upstream risk and downstream reporting systems and contribute to enhancing the control environment.
- Work with key stakeholders in Finance and the Business Unit and maintain close communication with all key stakeholders.
- Contribute to Finance-related projects, process enhancements, UAT testing, etc.
- Perform other P&L-related; tasks and requests as required.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Willingness to learn Finance principles, tools and systems.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a professional environment.
- Willingness to seek guidance and solicit feedback to further self-development.
- Strong academic background including a Graduation in Commerce, specialization in Financial Accounting, Chartered Accountant (CA), CFA, FRM, MBA or equivalent specialization in Finance/Risk.
- Prior Business Unit/Product Control experience with knowledge of financial products, Greek attribution, and corporate actions in the Fixed Income division. Fixed Income product knowledge would be preferred.
- Sound understanding and knowledge of Accounting and Capital Markets.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting systems, procedures, and controls.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders across divisions.
- Ability to make creative and effective use of systems and technology (including the MS Office Suite).
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, challenging, performance-driven environment.
- At least 0-2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
