Role & responsibilities

- Conduct physical and chemical testing of building materials such as putty, tile adhesive, cement-based products, mortar,

and other construction materials.

- Perform routine laboratory testing as per applicable standard methods and maintain accurate records of test results.

- Monitor raw material, in-process material, and finished goods quality as per approved specifications.

- Handle customer complaints, including complaint investigation, site visits, sample evaluation, root cause analysis, and

preparation of RCA/CAPA reports.

- Coordinate and monitor reprocessing/rework activities for non-conforming or off-specification materials and ensure quality

verification before release.

- Conduct internal and external audits, including audit preparation, participation, observation reporting, CAPA generation,

and closure monitoring.

- Carry out product and process standardization across manufacturing plants to ensure consistency in quality and

performance.





- Analyze test data and prepare technical reports highlighting observations, deviations, trends, root causes, and

recommendations.

- Perform calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments and ensure availability of valid calibration

records.

- Conduct trial batches and product evaluations for current materials, formulations, raw materials, and process changes.

- Monitor quality trends and recurring deviations and support continuous improvement initiatives.

- Maintain proper QA/QC documentation, records, specifications, test methods, and audit readiness.

- Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, customer specifications, and internal quality requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

Education - BSC Chemistry / Diploma in Civil / BE Civil / MSC Chemistry
Experience - 4-5 years of relevant experience
Product knowledge- putty, tile adhesive, cement-based products, morta.
