Business Analyst IT Infrastructure, Cloud & System Integration

1.) Role Overview : We are looking for a Business Analyst to act as a bridge between customers, business stakeholders, sales/presales teams, solution architects, and technical delivery teams. The role will focus on understanding customer business objectives and IT requirements, analyzing the current environment, documenting requirements, supporting solution definition, and ensuring alignment between agreed scope and delivery. The ideal candidate should have exposure to IT infrastructure, cloud, networking, cybersecurity, data center, managed services and system integration projects. The candidate must be comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Business & Customer Requirement Analysis

• Conduct customer meetings, discovery sessions, workshops and requirement-gathering discussions.

• Understand customer business objectives, pain points, operational challenges and technology requirements.

• Analyze the current-state (As-Is) environment and identify business, technical and operational gaps.

• Define and document the desired future-state (To-Be) requirements. • Identify assumptions, dependencies, constraints, risks and potential implementation issues.

• Translate business requirements into clear, measurable and actionable functional/technical requirements.

• Identify hidden, conflicting or incomplete requirements and drive clarification with stakeholders.

B. IT Infrastructure & System Integration Analysis

• Understand enterprise IT infrastructure and system integration concepts at a functional level.

• Analyze requirements covering Data Center, Servers, Storage, Virtualization, Networking, LAN/WAN, SDWAN and Wireless.

• Understand Firewall, VPN, NAC, Endpoint Security, IAM and other cybersecurity concepts.

• Understand Cloud and Hybrid Cloud environments, including AWS, Microsoft Azure and Private Cloud.

• Understand Backup, Disaster Recovery, Monitoring, IT Operations and ITSM processes.

• Work with Solution Architects and Engineers to convert business needs into appropriate technology requirements.

C. Requirement Documentation

• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) and Scope of Work (SOW).

• Prepare Requirement Matrices, Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM), Use Cases, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.

• Prepare As-Is / To-Be documents, Gap Analysis, Process Flows, MoM, assumptions, dependencies and risk documentation.

• Maintain requirement version control and ensure all requirements remain traceable throughout the project lifecycle.

• Ensure documentation is accurate, skilled, unambiguous and customer-ready

D. Pre-Sales & Solution Support

• Participate in customer discovery and requirement-gathering meetings with Sales and Pre-Sales teams.

• Analyze RFP, RFQ, RFI,



tender and customer requirement documents.

• Prepare requirement/compliance matrices and identify mandatory, optional and excluded requirements.

• Coordinate with Solution Architects, OEMs/vendors and technical teams for solution inputs.

• Support preparation of technical proposals, SOWs, solution presentations and BoQ/BoM inputs.

• Assist with effort estimation, resource planning, timelines, assumptions and exclusions.

• Ensure proposed solutions address the customer's actual business and technical requirements.

E. Project & Delivery Support

• Conduct requirement walkthroughs with Project Managers, Architects and technical delivery teams.

• Track requirements from project initiation through implementation and acceptance.

• Support UAT planning, UAT scenarios, acceptance criteria and customer sign-off.

• Coordinate requirement clarifications between customers and delivery teams.

• Analyze Change Requests for impact on scope, cost, resources, architecture and timelines.

• Support change management and help prevent unauthorized scope creep. F. Process Analysis & Improvement

• Analyze existing business and IT processes and identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.

• Recommend process improvements, automation opportunities and operational enhancements.

• Develop optimized To-Be processes and define relevant KPIs/operational metrics.

• Support digital transformation and IT modernization initiatives. G. Stakeholder Management

• Work effectively with customers, CXO/IT management, Sales, Pre-Sales, Solution Architects and Project Managers.

• Coordinate with Network, Cloud, Security, System Administration, Operations and OEM/vendor teams.

• Communicate requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Drive decisions, actions and clarifications to closure.

3. Key Deliverables

Compliance Matrix : Map RFP/RFQ/tender requirements to proposed solution

Change Request : Control and document scope changes

MoM / Decision Log : Track decisions, actions and ownership

4.) Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or a related field. • 57 years of experience as a Business Analyst, IT Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Solution Analyst or similar role.



• Relevant experience in an IT Services, System Integrator, Managed Services or Technology Consulting organization. • Experience working directly with enterprise customers and multiple internal technical teams. • Strong requirement-gathering, analysis, documentation and presentation skills. • Good understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and technology services.

5.) Preferred Technical Knowledge • IT Infrastructure: Servers, Storage, Virtualization and Data Center technologies. • Networking: LAN/WAN, Routing & Switching, SD-WAN and Wireless. • Security: Firewall, VPN, NAC, Endpoint Security, IAM and SIEM/SOC concepts. • Cloud: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Hybrid Cloud and Cloud Migration concepts. • Operations: Monitoring, Backup, Disaster Recovery and ITSM/ITIL concepts. • Project methodologies: Agile and Waterfall.

6.) Tools & Software • Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Microsoft Visio / Draw.io / Lucidchart or equivalent diagramming tools • Jira / Confluence or equivalent project and documentation platforms • Microsoft Teams / SharePoint • Exposure to ServiceNow, Azure DevOps or Power BI will be an advantage

7.) 9.) What We Are Looking For We are looking for a Business Analyst who can go beyond documentation and meeting coordination. The candidate should be able to understand the customer's business problem, assess the IT requirement, work with architects to shape an appropriate solution, define scope and deliverables, and support the delivery team through testing and customer acceptance. A strong candidate should be able to translate a requirement such as migrate the existing infrastructure to AWS, improve security and availability, and establish DR into a structured set of business requirements, current-state assessment, gap analysis, future-state requirements, technical requirements, scope, BoQ/BoM inputs, SOW, implementation requirements, UAT and acceptance criteria.
