Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python-based test automation, Linux environments, and CI/CD pipeline integration using Jenkins.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks using Python.
- Create and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test cases.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and validate application functionality.
- Develop and maintain automated testing pipelines integrated with Jenkins.
- Execute testing activities in Linux-based environments and troubleshoot environment-related issues.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall software quality.
- Participate in release validation, production verification, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain test plans, test reports, and quality metrics.

Required Skills

- 6-9 years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.
- Strong programming experience in Python for test automation.
- Hands-on experience working with Linux/Unix operating systems.




- Experience configuring and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in API testing and automation.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with automation frameworks such as PyTest.
- Experience testing REST APIs and microservices.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
