Role & responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day QC laboratory activities and allocate work to Chemists/Executives.
- Review chemical and microbiological testing results, records, logbooks and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, GDP, SOPs and quality systems.
- Prepare/review SOPs, GTPs, formats, logbooks and QC documents.
- Monitor batch release status and coordinate with Production.
- Handle Change Controls, training, laboratory inventory and audit readiness.
- Supervise Microbiology activities, including media preparation, sterilization, microbial testing and related records.
- Coordinate with QC, R&D;, Production and other departments.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure the laboratory remains inspection-ready.

Preferred candidate profile

Pharma/API/Excipient/Chemical manufacturing, preferably having exposure to both Chemical QC + Microbiology QC, GMP documentation, audits, batch release and laboratory team handling.
