Applicants with the following set of essential qualification(s) and mandatory experience can apply for one position of Jr. Mechanic post :

3-year Diploma in Engineering in Electronics/ Telecommunication/ Computer/ IT with relevant

experience of two years after the diploma.

OR

ITI in Electronic Mechanic/IT/ICT/advanced computers trade with relevant experience of five years after the ITI certificate.

OR

Bachelor's degree (other than B.Tech./B.E.) in Computer Science, IT, Computer Applications,

Electronics.

For a diploma in a given discipline, if the pre-requisite happens to be (10+2), the required experience will be reduced by two years.

Desirable experience: Hands-on experience in the field of IP-PBX based on server-gateway





architecture. Knowledge of Systems and Network Administration in Linux, open-source technologies will be preferred.

Job Description / Responsibilities

Maintenance of EPABX, IP-PBX and SIP phones using IP networking.Routine troubleshooting of voice communication issues.

Basic coordination with network and system administrators .

Ensuring uptime and operational availability of telephony equipment

Keeping basic documentation of configurations and incidents.

Compensation range

Pay Level 3 (21700-69100)

(Gross Pay includes Basic Pay + Dearness allowance + House Rent Allowance + Transport Allowance + Dearness allowance on Transport allowance)
