About the Role

- We are looking for an accomplished Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with 20+ years of technology leadership experience to define and drive the organisation's technology vision, digital transformation and product engineering strategy.
- The ideal candidate will be a strategic technology leader with a strong background in SaaS, EdTech or B2B technology, combining deep technical expertise with business acumen, product thinking and proven experience building high-performing technology organisations.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute the organisation's technology strategy and roadmap aligned with business and revenue objectives.
- Lead the architecture, development, scalability and continuous evolution of SaaS and digital technology platforms.
- Drive product engineering, technology innovation, automation and digital transformation initiatives.
- Build, mentor and lead high-performing teams across engineering, product technology, DevOps, cloud, data and information security.
- Establish scalable and secure technology architectures capable of supporting rapid business growth.
- Drive cloud adoption, platform scalability, API integrations, data platforms and technology modernisation.
- Ensure high standards of software quality, performance, availability, security and reliability.
- Establish robust engineering practices covering SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, testing, release management and technology governance.
- Oversee cybersecurity, data privacy, risk management,



disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, including AI/ML and automation, where they create measurable business value.
- Partner closely with the CEO, business leadership, product and commercial teams to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
- Manage technology budgets, vendors, strategic technology partners and external development relationships.
- Establish technology KPIs and ensure predictable delivery, operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile

- 20+ years of overall technology experience, with significant experience in SaaS, EdTech, B2B technology or digital platforms.
- Proven experience in a CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Technology or equivalent senior technology leadership role.
- Strong track record of building and scaling technology teams and technology platforms.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture, SaaS platforms, enterprise applications, APIs, databases, cybersecurity and DevOps.
- Experience taking technology products from strategy and architecture through development, deployment, scaling and optimisation.
- Robust understanding of product engineering and the ability to balance technology excellence, speed, scalability and commercial priorities.
- Demonstrated experience leading digital transformation and technology modernisation initiatives.
- Strong business orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with CXOs, investors, customers and senior stakeholders.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving and stakeholder management capabilities.
