Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with strong hands-on programming experience and a deep understanding of Python fundamentals, object-oriented programming, decorators, data structures, algorithms, exception handling, multithreading, and software design patterns.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable developing clean, scalable, maintainable, and reusable Python code and should have strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust applications using Python.
- Apply strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to develop reusable and maintainable code.
- Develop and implement Python functions, classes, modules, and reusable components.
- Work extensively with Python decorators, including function, class, nested, and parameterized decorators.
- Design efficient solutions using appropriate data structures and algorithms.
- Implement effective exception handling, error management, and debugging practices.
- Develop and optimize multithreaded Python applications where required.
- Apply appropriate software design patterns to solve complex development problems.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and production-ready code.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to coding standards and best practices.
- Use Git for source code management, branching, merging, and collaborative development.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Python applications.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, QA engineers,
and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
Mandatory Technical Skills
Python Programming
- Strong hands-on experience in Python programming.
- Excellent understanding of Python syntax, functions, modules, packages, and reusable components.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, maintainable, and scalable Python code.
Object-Oriented Programming
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with:

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Exception Handling
- Strong understanding of Python exception handling.
- Experience with try, except, else, finally, and custom exceptions.
- Ability to build robust error-handling mechanisms.
Multithreading
- Good understanding of multithreading and concurrency concepts in Python.
- Knowledge of threads, synchronization, locks, thread pools, and related concepts.
- Understanding of Python's threading model and practical considerations when implementing concurrent applications.
Design Patterns
- Strong understanding of commonly used software design patterns.
- Ability to select and implement appropriate patterns based on application requirements.
- Knowledge of patterns such as Singleton, Factory, Strategy, Observer, Adapter, Decorator, and Template Method will be an advantage.
Version Control
- Hands-on experience with Git.
- Good understanding of branching, merging, pull requests, conflict resolution, and collaborative development workflows.
Good to Have
- Experience developing enterprise-grade Python applications.
- Exposure to Python testing frameworks such as PyTest or unittest.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and web services.
- Exposure to SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and modern software development practices.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
