Job Summary:

- In this role, you will participate in the design and preparation of construction drawings, project schedules, graphic presentations and Plant Design and Piping (PD&P;) drawings. You will originate basic deliverables and documents and verify compliance of pipe configurations and manufacturers drawings. Your efforts will contribute to ensuring PD&P; design meets industry best practices and compliance standards.

Major Responsibilities:

- Compiles, adjusts, and correlates data forplant design - engineering work
- Participates in preparation ofconstruction drawings, project schedules,graphic presentations and plant design andpiping drawings
- Examines and analyzes pipe configurationsfor ANSI/ASME code compliance
- Provides input to and/or maintains technicallogs and records




- Checks manufacturers drawings and datafor compliance with specification and designdrawings
- Designs or participates in designs for minorstructures and portions of plant or piping
- Originates basic discipline deliverables anddocuments, including basic pipe supportdetails and designs, bulk material take-offs,wall thickness calculations, piping materialclasses or easy stress analysiscalculations
- Coordinates work and collaborates with otherengineering disciplines
- Provides direct support to other engineeringdisciplines for plant design and piping related matters

Education and Experience Requirements:

- Requires a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience
- Associate degree or related technical training preferred
