Role & responsibilities

- Lead Electrical design and engineering activities for various projects.
- Prepare Electrical design calculations, Load calculations, and equipment selection.
- Develop Electrical layouts, Cable tray layouts, and Lighting designs.
- Review and approve design drawings, BOQs, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Architectural teams.
- Ensure compliance with ECBC, and relevant standards.
- Participate in client meetings and provide technical support.
- Manage project schedules and ensure timely delivery of design deliverables.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers and design team members.
- Support BIM/Revit-based project execution.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.E./B.Tech - Any Specialization
- 5-10 years of experience in Electrical Design and MEP Consultancy.




- Robust knowledge of Electrical systems, load calculations, Cable try, Wiring, and Panel design.
- Experience in Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Hospitality, and Industrial projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM workflows.
- Knowledge of ECBC and relevant design standards.
- Experience in project coordination, client interactions, and design reviews.
- Ability to lead and manage a team of design engineers.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to work from Chennai and travel for project-related requirements when necessary.
