Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Planning Manager with 10+ years of experience in the Engineering & Construction / Infrastructure sector to lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and project control activities. The candidate will be responsible for developing project schedules, tracking progress, identifying delays, and coordinating with project teams to ensure timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, baseline programs, and execution plans using Primavera P6.
- Prepare WBS, activity schedules, resource loading, and manpower plans.
- Monitor project progress against planned schedules and identify schedule slippages and critical activities.
- Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and management MIS.
- Conduct Planned vs. Actual progress analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop S-Curves, progress curves, dashboards, and project performance reports.
- Identify the Critical Path and monitor critical activities to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Prepare look-ahead schedules, recovery schedules, and catch-up plans wherever required.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QS, Contracts, and Site Execution teams.
- Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources against project requirements.
- Track procurement and engineering deliverables and their impact on construction activities.




- Analyse project delays and support preparation of Delay Analysis, EOT claims, and Time Impact Analysis.
- Monitor subcontractor schedules and evaluate their progress against approved programs.
- Participate in project review meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and management.
- Identify potential schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Support project teams in cost and schedule control, forecasting, and project performance improvement.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of planning and project control records.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of Construction Planning & Project Controls.
- Hands-on experience in Primavera P6.
- Good understanding of CPM, WBS, Baseline, Critical Path, Float, and Schedule Analysis.
- Experience in Delay Analysis, EOT, Recovery Planning, and Time Impact Analysis.
- Strong knowledge of S-Curve, Progress Monitoring, Resource Planning, and Productivity Analysis.
- Good understanding of civil/infrastructure/construction project execution.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering preferred.
- Candidates with relevant experience in Engineering & Construction / Infrastructure projects will be preferred.

Experience

- 10+ years of relevant experience in Planning / Project Controls within the Engineering & Construction, Infrastructure, EPC, or Civil Construction industry.
- Experience handling large-scale construction projects will be an advantage.
