We are looking for enthusiastic Sales Engineers to join our Chennai sales team and develop business with electrical contractors, consultants, industries, builders, project companies etc.

Job Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will:

• Visit electrical contractors, consultants, builders, industries and project sites.

• Identify new business opportunities and generate enquiries.

• Develop relationships with electrical contractors, consultants and customers.

• Understand customer and project requirements.

• Explain the technical applications and benefits of Lightning Protection and Earthing systems.

• Recommend appropriate products and solutions after understanding customer requirements.

• Prepare quotations and coordinate with the technical/commercial team.

• Follow up on enquiries and quotations and convert them into orders.

• Track upcoming projects and develop new business opportunities.

• Conduct regular market and customer visits.

• Maintain customer and enquiry records.

• Achieve agreed sales and business-development targets.

Candidate Profile:

Essential:

• Two-wheeler and valid driving licence.

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) / Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE).

• Valuable basic knowledge of electrical concepts.

• Good communication skills in Tamil and English.

• Willingness to travel for customer and project visits.

• Good interpersonal and follow-up skills.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn technical products.

• Interest in developing a career in technical sales.

Preferred:

• Previous experience in electrical productssales.

• Experience in electrical installation, MEP, solar, electrical panels, fire & safety or related fields.

• Experience dealing with electrical contractors, consultants or industrial customers.
