Job Summary

Required years of Experience: 5 to 8 yrs.

Educational Qualification: M.E. / M.Tech / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Responsibilities

- Exposure in engineering design for EPC projects including preparation of SLD, technical specifications, sizing calculation of switchgears, PCC/PMCC/MCC, transformers, cables, battery battery charger, earthing, DP / 4pole structure and HV substations.
- Selection of switchgear components as per type 2 coordination chart.
- Preparation of GA of electrical substation room layout, cable routing layout, earthing, lighting lightning layout drawings.
- Experience in preparation of motor schematics, various control circuits, review of vendor switchgear panel schematics etc.,
- Knowledge experience selection of motor starters such as VFD, SS, ATS in LV and MV system.
- Experience in various types of motors, DG set, Bio-gas generators review of vendor documents / characteristics curves.
- Preparing department DCI MCI list, scope matrix, design review plans, risk matrix and identifying deviation scope.
- Handling tenders, preparation of pre-bid queries, Identification of major minor items of the projects, providing optimized design BOQ proposals, interdepartmental interface,



preparing technical specifications and data sheet for equipments.
- Responsibility for co-ordination with various equipment vendors for getting the technical offers, evaluation clearing post order vendor documents.
- Experience, if any in the area of solar power, short circuit calculations will be added additional advantage.
- Knowledge and hands on experience in electrical design for Sewage Treatment Plants Pumping Stations for Municipal and Industrial segments.
- The candidate should be well conversant with IS, IE-Regulations, IEEE, IEC codes and CPHEEO manuals and other power distribution system design standards.
