Role & responsibilities:

Product Costing

- Cost sheet preparation Prepare and maintain product cost sheets across the product range, capturing

material, labour and overhead costs.

- Standard vs actual costing Support the maintenance of standard costs and compare against actuals to

identify and report variances.

- Update costings when raw material prices, formulations or process parameters change.

Data Capture & Inventory Support

- Material & production data Collect and verify raw material consumption, batch output and

production data from the plant for costing purposes.

- Inventory valuation support — Assist in the valuation of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished

goods, and support periodic stock reconciliation.

- Coordinate with plant, stores and purchase teams to obtain accurate cost and consumption inputs.

Analysis & Reporting

- Prepare routine costing reports, wastage and consumption analysis, and margin summaries for

management review.

- Maintain accurate, well-organised costing records, registers and supporting documentation.
- Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc cost analysis, pricing inputs and cost-control initiatives.
