The ServiceNow CMDB Engineer is responsible for maintaining and governing a high-quality CMDB on the ServiceNow platform. The role ensures accurate CI data, compliant relationships aligned to CSDM, and effective integration with ITSM, ITOM, Discovery, and Service Mapping. The engineer works closely with architects, IT operations, and application teams to ensure the CMDB is a trusted system of record.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Robust hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB.
- Deep understanding of CSDM (Common Service Data Model).
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery & Service Mapping.
- CI lifecycle, identification, and reconciliation rules.
- JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Server Scripts.
- Import Sets, Transform Maps, and UI Policies.
- CMDB Health Dashboards and Reporting.
