About the role

Hanu Reddy Realty is looking for a part-time QA Engineer to support quality on our internal CRM platform. This role is at the same experience level as our Software Engineer position on the same project, with a flexible part-time commitment of 4- 5 hours per day.

You'll work closely with our engineering team to identify and prevent issues before they reach production, covering functional correctness, API reliability, visual consistency, and overall usability of the application.

This role is suitable for an experienced QA professional looking for focused, part time work on a real, actively developed product.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform manual QA on new features and bug fixes across the CRM platform before release
- Conduct UI testing to ensure consistency, responsiveness, layout accuracy, and design fidelity across pages and devices
- Perform API testing to validate backend functionality, responses, data integrity, and error handling
- Write and maintain clear test cases, test scenarios, and checklists for core CRM workflows
- Log, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps and relevant details
- Retest fixes and verify that reported issues are fully resolved before sign-off
- Perform regression and exploratory testing to identify potential issues
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify edge cases and improve test coverage
- Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright where required
- Validate database data and workflows using SQL
- Contribute to improving QA processes and overall product quality

Requirements

- 3-5 years of hands-on QA experience, preferably with web applications




- Strong manual testing skills, including functional, regression, exploratory, and UI testing
- Strong understanding of API testing
- Hands-on experience with Playwright automation
- Robust SQL knowledge for database validation and testing
- Working knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript
- Sharp eye for visual/UI issues, including layout, spacing, responsiveness, and cross-browser/cross-device inconsistencies
- Ability to write clear, structured test cases and detailed bug reports
- Comfortable testing Next.js-based web applications
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Valuable communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, async-friendly environment
- Experience with Cypress, Selenium, or other QA automation frameworks
- Experience testing applications built with Supabase or similar backend-as-a-service platforms
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools
- Experience testing CRM platforms or property-tech applications
- Experience in the real estate, property-tech, or CRM software space
