Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate with customers, carriers, and freight forwarders to resolve issues and optimize logistics processes.
- Prepare pre-shipment documents such as commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Negotiate rates with carriers to obtain competitive pricing for clients' shipments.
- Ensure accurate documentation and labeling of goods prior to transportation.
- Manage air export shipments from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Solid knowledge of customs clearance procedures and regulations.
- Proficiency in preparing various types of shipping documents (e.g., commercial invoices, bills of lading).
- Excellent communication skills for effective negotiation with carriers/customers.
