Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Hospital / Clinic Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital/clinic. The candidate will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating departments, ensuring smooth patient flow, monitoring administrative activities, and maintaining high standards of patient service and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate should have strong hospital administration, team management, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Hospital / Clinic Operations

- Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the hospital/clinic.
- Ensure smooth functioning of OPD, front office, billing, pharmacy, diagnostics, OT, and other departments as applicable.
- Monitor patient flow and minimize waiting time.
- Ensure proper coordination between doctors, nursing staff, technicians, front office, billing, and support staff.
- Ensure hospital policies, SOPs, and operational procedures are followed.
- Identify operational issues and take appropriate corrective action.

Staff & Team Management

- Supervise, coordinate, and manage hospital staff.
- Prepare and monitor staff duty rosters and schedules.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, discipline, and performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings and communicate management instructions.




- Identify training requirements and support staff development.
- Handle routine staff concerns and escalate major issues to management.

Patient Experience

- Ensure patients and attendants receive professional and courteous service.
- Handle patient feedback, complaints, and concerns effectively.
- Coordinate with concerned departments to resolve patient issues.
- Monitor patient satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure confidentiality and professional handling of patient information.

Administrative & Financial Coordination

- Monitor daily collections, billing activities, and operational reports.
- Coordinate with the accounts/finance team regarding billing and payment-related matters.
- Monitor expenses, consumables, and administrative requirements.
- Assist management in budgeting and cost-control initiatives.
- Maintain and review daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

Inventory & Vendor Management

- Monitor availability of medicines, consumables, office supplies, and other hospital requirements.
- Coordinate with stores and purchase teams.
- Follow up with vendors regarding supplies, services, and maintenance.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and ensure timely servicing.

Compliance & Quality

- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and applicable healthcare regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation and records.
- Support quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, infection-control practices, and overall facility standards.
- Coordinate audits, inspections,



and documentation when required.

Required Skills

- Valuable knowledge of MS Office and basic hospital software/ERP systems.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.

Eligibility

- Bachelor's degree in Hospital Administration / Healthcare Management / Business Administration or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of experience in hospital, clinic, healthcare, or medical administration.
- Candidates with experience in hospital/clinic management will be preferred.
- Experience in orthopaedic hospitals/clinics will be an added advantage.
