Job Description & Key Responsibilities

- Driver Development: Develop and maintain Wi-Fi and Networking driver components within an open-development environment.
- Architecture & Specification: Design, document, and create scalable, reliable, and performant software specifications tailored to QNX customer needs.
- Project Estimation & Execution: Provide precise effort estimates for requirements, design, implementation, and testing phases.
- Code Quality & Mentorship: Conduct code/design reviews, unit testing, and mentor team members on engineering best practices, safety, and quality standards.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Analyze, isolate, and resolve complex software issues; interface directly with customers regarding product performance and system design.
- Custom Solutions:



Build custom software solutions based on specific client requirements while adhering to internal engineering standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Wi-Fi Drivers: Proven hands-on experience in Wi-Fi driver development, including STA, AP, P2P, and multi-mode implementations.
- Hardware Interfaces: Thorough working knowledge of at least one interface protocol: PCIe, SDIO, or USB.
- Networking Protocols: Deep understanding of Wi-Fi control and data paths, authentication/encryption methods, wpa_supplicant, and hostapd.
- Programming & OS: Expertise in C and Python programming along with strong Linux OS internals.
- Preferred Experience: Prior exposure or working knowledge of QNX OS is a robust advantage.
