Role & responsibilities

1. Candidate will be responsible for handling production operation of speciality chemical , Agro chemical & API Intermediate to achieve production, quality, safety, and cost targets.

2. Candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with EHS, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

3. Candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, productivity, continuous improvement, and cost optimization.

4. Candidate will be responsible for managing production planning, maintenance, engineering, quality, and supply chain coordination.

5. Candidate will be responsible for developing and leading a high-performing cross-functional team and effective man management.

6. Candidate will be responsible for managing site budget, OPEX, CAPEX, and zero-based budgeting.

7. Candidate will be responsible for monitoring KPIs, production performance, safety, quality, and financial metrics.

8. Candidate will be responsible for driving sustainability and environmental initiatives across the site.

Candidate will be responsible for reporting site performance and key operational updates to senior management.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Candidate should be a Bachelors or Master’s degree holder in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
2. Candidate should have experience of 15–20 years in manufacturing, preferably in Specialty Chemicals / Agrochemicals. And minimum 4–5 years in an Operational production API Intermediate to speciality chemical , Agro chemical
3. Candidate should have experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, which will be an added advantage.
4. Candidate should have experience and robust knowledge of safety EHS, quality, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and cost control.
5. Candidate should have experience in team leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and effective communication and man management.
