Critical Role and Responsibilities

1. Develop and own the master production schedule aligned with delivery commitments and capacity
2. Define and enforce inventory norms (RM, WIP, FG) to optimize working capital
3. Conduct capacity planning and load balancing across all work centers to support the MPS
4. Lead and mentor the PPC team in daily execution and escalation management on the shop floor
5. Drive machine and resource allocation strategy aligned with production priorities
6. Own the Plan vs. Actual production tracking and drive corrective actions to close gaps
7. Design and optimize shift schedules for manpower and raw material allocation across departments
8. Maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams, workmen, and vendors
9. Review and authorize purchase indents and PO releases for raw materials; manage vendor escalations
10. Establish and maintain RM planning, ordering, and scheduling protocols aligned with minimum stock norms

Monitor and control production costing against BOM; identify cost-saving opportunities and flag overruns

Non Critical Role and Responsibilities

1. Oversee packing and dispatch scheduling as per ODS; coordinate with logistics for on-time delivery
2. Prepare and present MIS reports and dashboards to senior leadership on daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual basis
3. Drive the S&OP; process; prepare and present weekly and monthly production plans to HOD/leadership
4. Lead capacity utilization analysis and drive plant-wide efficiency improvement initiatives
5. Evaluate vendor performance on quantity, quality, and delivery; drive corrective actions with procurement
6. Partner with Sales, Logistics, and Quality teams to ensure seamless dispatch and customer satisfaction
7. Monitor and report quality scrap levels; ensure scrap is within budgeted parameters per costing sheet
8. Lead BOM preparation for recent products/projects and ensure accuracy across specification sheets.
