Job Role: Backend Developer (Java & AWS)

We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and scale next-generation, high-performance services that support fraud detection and remediation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building cloud-native, distributed systems and scalable platforms that handle high transaction volumes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, flexible, and high-performance services for the Fraud organization.
- Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
- Ensure all development activities adhere to industry standards, security best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams through pair programming, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Work closely with product and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
- Propose and implement data-driven solutions to improve system performance and operational efficiency.
- Continuously enhance documentation, engineering processes, and development standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Minimum 4+ years of qualified software development experience.
- Strong passion for building and improving high-quality, resilient software systems.




- Proven experience building scalable platforms and services that process millions of transactions daily.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Java
- Spring Boot
- Microservices Architecture

- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
- Strong experience with AWS Cloud and multiple AWS services.
- Hands-on expertise with:

- Amazon ECS (Elastic Container Service)
- Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service)
- AWS Lambda

- Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications in highly available and scalable environments.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, performance optimization, and system scalability.

Preferred Qualifications:

- AWS Certification such as AWS Certified Developer Associate and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Experience with Amazon DynamoDB is a strong advantage.
- Exposure to or hands-on experience with Generative AI (GenAI), Large Language Models (LLMs), AI-powered applications, or AI integration frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure automation is preferred.
- Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and production support best practices is an advantage.
