Job Summary

The Software Engineer I engineers secure, scalable and reliable technology solutions, with appropriate mentoring, to advance CMEG in the global marketplace and serve risk management needs of customers around the world.

Responsibilities

- Conducts coding at sprint level potentially minimal design in POD model
- Conducts unit testing of own code. Reviews unit tests with mentor.
- Exhibits basic proficiency in language knowledge; Writes application modules and unit tests with guidance.
- Exhibits knowledge of SQL and basic database modelling.
- Implements designs received from managers or immediate supervisors.
- Optimises code with supervision. Applies learning from prior code reviews and helps with environment build deployments. Corrects identified defects and issues.
- Willing to work in production issues on rotational basis

Requirements
- Positive hands on implementation in React.Js / Java / API development
- Good knowledge of backend BQ/SQL/Postgres with basic modelling
- Good working experience in cloud , nice to have GCP experience
