Key Responsibilities:

- Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies for Dolomite, Quartzite, and other mineral products.
- Identify new customers, dealers, distributors, industries, and institutional buyers.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop new markets and expand the company's customer base.
- Customer Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and regularly follow up on requirements.
- Understand customer specifications regarding quality, size, chemical composition, quantity, and delivery schedule.
- Handle customer enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order confirmations.
- Industrial Sales
- Develop business with steel plants, foundries, cement plants, refractory manufacturers, construction companies, and other mineral-consuming industries.
- Coordinate with purchase departments, quality teams, stores, and commercial departments of customers.
- Pricing & Negotiation
- Prepare competitive quotations based on market conditions, transportation costs, quality, and availability.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery terms, and other commercial conditions with customers.
- Monitor market prices and competitor activities.
- Order & Supply Coordination
- Coordinate with procurement, mining/sourcing, logistics, warehouse, and accounts teams to ensure timely supply.
- Track customer orders from confirmation through loading and delivery.
- Resolve issues related to quantity, quality, transportation, and delivery.
- Quality & Technical Coordination
- Understand mineral specifications such as CaO, MgO, SiO₂, LOI, moisture, size, and other relevant parameters.
- Coordinate with the quality/laboratory team for test reports and customer-required specifications.
- Handle customer complaints and coordinate corrective action.




- Market Development
- Conduct market surveys to identify new buyers and emerging business opportunities.
- Visit customers, industrial units, stockyards, mines, and prospective markets.
- Maintain information regarding competitors, suppliers, market rates, and customer demand.
- Sales Reporting
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports.
- Maintain records of enquiries, quotations, orders, outstanding payments, customer visits, and sales performance.
- Report sales performance and market developments to management.
- Payment & Credit Control
- Follow up with customers for timely payments.
- Coordinate with the accounts department regarding outstanding receivables.
- Ensure sales are made within approved credit limits and payment terms.
- Team Management
- Guide and supervise sales executives and field sales personnel.
- Set sales targets and monitor individual performance.
- Motivate the sales team to achieve business objectives.

Position: Sales Manager
Industry: Dolomite, Quartzite & Mineral Trading
Reporting To: Director / General Manager
Experience: Preferably 3–8 years in mineral, steel, refractory, cement, mining, or industrial raw-material sales.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
