Roles and Responsibility

- Manage day-to-day operations of the warehouse/store, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of industrial products.
- Maintain accurate stock records for hand tools, power tools, safety products, electrical items, lubricants, pneumatic tools, welding equipment, and other industrial supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchase and sales teams for timely replenishment.
- Ensure proper identification, labelling, storage, and systematic arrangement of all products.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Manage inward and outward material documentation, including GRN, delivery challans, invoices,



and stock transfer records.
- Coordinate with sales, purchase, accounts, and dispatch teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Monitor damaged, defective, expired, or slow-moving stock and maintain proper records.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Supervise store staff, allocate daily tasks, and monitor their productivity and discipline.
- Maintain proper housekeeping, safety standards, and security within the store/warehouse.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock and dispatch reports for management.
- Use ERP/Tally or inventory management software for stock entries and reporting.
- Ensure minimum stock levels and support management in inventory planning and control.
- Prevent stock loss, pilferage, and unauthorized movement of materials.
