Location: Madhyamgram, Kolkata
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Experience: 3–6 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Machine Maintenance Operator to handle preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery. The candidate should have hands-on experience in plant machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, minimizing machine downtime, and managing engineering spare parts.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive, routine and breakdown maintenance of production machines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems and attend emergency machine breakdowns.
- Ensure maximum machine efficiency and minimize production downtime.
- Maintain and monitor boilers, conveyors, packaging machines, motors, pumps, gearboxes, etc.
- Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and machine maintenance records.
- Manage engineering spare parts and inventory.
- Coordinate with the production team during machine breakdowns and repairs.
- Follow proper industrial safety procedures and maintenance standards.
- Identify recurring machine problems and take corrective action.





Candidate Requirements

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–6 years of hands-on plant machinery maintenance experience.
- Food processing/FMCG manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Experience with boilers, conveyors and packaging machines.
- Knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting and safety protocols.
- Experience in spare-parts management will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
