1. Core Expertise: Must have hands-on experience in formulating Surfactants (Anionic, Cationic, Non-ionic), Disinfectants (BKC-based, Phenolic, Alcohol-based), and Industrial/Household Cleaning products (Liquid detergents, degreasers, floor cleaners).

2. Raw Material Knowledge: Solid understanding of sourcing cost-effective active ingredients, stabilizers, emulsifiers, and perfumes within India.

3. Cost Optimization: Ability to reverse-engineer competitor formulas and create high-efficacy products at competitive raw-material costs (essential for the Indian market).

4. Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with necessary Indian regulatory standards (e.g., FDA cosmetic/disinfectant licensing, BIS certifications, and writing Material Safety Data Sheets - MSDS).

5. Deliverables Expected: “Must be able to provide ready-to-manufacture batch sheets, commercial manufacturing processes, and stability testing protocols.”
