About the Role- We are looking for an experienced MEP/HVAC Engineer to supervise and manage MEP works for a specialist building project at Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.

The candidate should have strong practical experience in HVAC installation, site execution, testing & commissioning, MEP coordination, quality control, documentation, and billing.

Key Responsibilities1. HVAC Installation & Site Execution

- Supervise installation of AHU, FCU, VRF/VRV, chillers, ventilation and exhaust systems.
- Supervise HVAC ducting, chilled-water/refrigerant piping and insulation works.
- Ensure installation is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Check duct alignment, supports, insulation and pressure testing.
- Monitor day-to-day HVAC site execution and progress.

2. HVAC Drawings & MEP Coordination

- Read and interpret HVAC layout, ducting and piping drawings.
- Coordinate with Civil, Electrical, Fire Fighting and other MEP teams.
- Identify and resolve service clashes at site.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors and client/ISRO representatives.
- Ensure proper implementation of approved drawings and technical requirements.

3. Testing & Commissioning

- Supervise testing, balancing and commissioning of HVAC systems.
- Check airflow, temperature, pressure and equipment performance.
- Prepare and maintain testing and commissioning reports.
- Identify and rectify defects, snags and technical issues before handover.
- Coordinate final testing and system performance verification.

4. Fire Alarm System

- Supervise installation of:
- Smoke detectors
- Heat detectors
- Manual Call Points (MCP)
- Hooters/Sounders




- Fire alarm panels
- Check fire alarm cable, conduit and tray installation.
- Verify installations against approved drawings.
- Assist in testing, troubleshooting and commissioning.
- Coordinate with Fire Fighting and Electrical teams.

5. Documentation, BOQ & Billing

- Prepare and verify BOQ and quantity measurements.
- Prepare and maintain JMS (Joint Measurement Sheets).
- Verify subcontractor bills against actual executed quantities.
- Prepare and verify RA Bills.
- Carry out quantity reconciliation.
- Maintain DPR, inspection reports, material records and testing documents.
- Assist in material approvals and technical submittals.

6. Quality & Safety

- Inspect incoming HVAC materials and equipment.
- Ensure all MEP works comply with approved drawings, specifications and applicable standards.
- Maintain inspection checklists and quality records.
- Monitor workmanship and installation quality.
- Ensure all site safety procedures are followed.
- Coordinate with the safety team to maintain safe working practices.

Candidate Requirements

- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical / MEP-related Engineering.
- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant MEP/HVAC experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in HVAC installation and site execution.
- Experience with AHU, FCU, VRF/VRV, chillers, ducting and piping will be preferred.
- Knowledge of HVAC drawings and MEP coordination.
- Experience in testing and commissioning will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems is preferred.
- Experience in BOQ, measurements, JMS and RA billing is preferred.
- Government/Central Government/Specialist Building project experience will be highly preferred.
- Candidate must be comfortable working at Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.
